Step 1: Gather your undecorated sugar cookie and supplies (royal icing, piping bottles or bags, and brushes) We used three icing colors: white, black and brown.

Step 3 : Outline the eyes and mouth with the skin tone royal icing and the hair with the hair color royal icing.

Step 5: Fill in the mouth and eyes with the white royal icing, let dry for approx. 25mins, then place small drops of black icing for the pupils and add eyebrows. Add texture to the hair.

Step 2 : Carefully outline the face and ears with the skin tone colored royal icing- this technique is known as "Piping"

Step 4: Fill in the face with the skin tone colored icing and next the hair with the hair toned colored icing- this technique is known as "Flooding" and let dry
